Beaches

Relax in the sand and enjoy the crystal-clear, refreshing waters at one of our intimate beach coves. Please inform yourself before heading for the beach: most public beaches offer no changing or shower amenities. Beaches that do, mostly ask for an entrance fee per car or per person.

The following beaches are equipped with changing facilities, showers and snackbar or restaurant: Barbara Beach, Spanish Water, Cas Abou, Daaibooi, Groot Knip, Jan Thiel baai, Seaquarium and Porto Marie. Some of the best public beaches include Klein Knip, Playa Jeremi, Playa Lagun, Santa Cruz, and Westpunt.

Another popular beach is Klein Curaçao, located on the uninhabited island of Klein Curaçao. This tiny version of Curaçao is located on the Southeast coast of the island. Its pearly white sand and underwater life is breathtaking, but be sure to bring enough sunscreen and a hat, there are hardly any covered areas on Klein Curaçao. The only way to get there is by boat. Several excursions are available through tour agents.
